Welcome to the Guru's Lair:

Your online tech support service for readers of microcomputer
pioneer, researcher, and prolific author Don Lancaster's ezine
columns that included his Resource Bin,  Blatant Opportunist,
GuruGrams, Tech Musings, Guru's  Lair, and similar tutorials.

A definitive web resource for the spectacularly engineered
Prehistoric Bajada "Hanging" Canals, for our extensive Gila
Valley Dayhikes Guide, and our new Lancaster Classics USB
Library. Plus great heaping bunches of free eBooks.

Along with Don's eclectic coverage for Acrobat and PostScript ,
his Incredible Secret Money Machine, his guidelines to  Avoid
Patent Ripoffs
, doing your own Book-on-Demand publishing, or
getting great surplus Live eBay Auctions and Test Equipment
bargains, or discrediting the Hydrogen energy ludicrosity.

Or mastering the secrets of Bezier Cubic Splines, other math
stuff
, trashing Pseudoscience, going on a Tinaja Quest, exploring
Magic Sinewave ventures, learning  PIC Microcontrollers, or
exploring InfoPack research, superb Partnering opportunities,
Santa Claus Machines, Water Soluble Swimsuits, or Wavelets,
Books, Flutterwumpers, Fonts, and Webmastering.

Plus annotated links to many thousands of websites and related
resources. All based on the premise that if Don personally uses
them and is interested in them, others are also likely to.

Most library files require an Adobe Acrobat plug in for online
viewing. Offline, these may be accessed by an Acrobat Reader
or an eBook Reader or any other .PDF accepting program.

Included are hundreds of Don's unique .PSL sourcecode files.
These are ordinary textfiles written in the PostScript language
and are usually executed in Acrobat Distiller from the Windows
command line with a secret magic incantation of "//acrodist /F".
Alternately, GhostScript can be used. Some of these .PSL files
use Don's Gonzo utilities, per this sourcecode and this tutorial.

Answerable technical questions are often handled free of charge
by emailing don@tinaja.com or else by phoning (928) 428-4073
during reasonable hours. More complex needs can get filled by
use of our "cash and carry" InfoPack and consulting services.

Our technical consulting rates start at $137 per hour. Support
charges are $43 per hour.

Our secrecy policy: There ain't one! We don't normally do NDA's
or any classified work of any sort. Unless paid prearrangements
are specifically made, you can safely assume that anything and
everything you tell us can and will be disseminated to the widest
possible audience.

Any third party rotating banners are by invitation only and only
represent products that we genuinely support and truly believe in.
Associate arrangements or other considerations may be present.
Separately, we do offer one blockable Adsense top banner per page.

Besides being something that we simply do not do, these sales
are prohibited by certain of our suppliers.
